Safe Handling/Storage
When storing, place the food in the frezer in the original packaging. To thaw, move the food to the refrigerator and allow it to thaw for 24-36 hours. Once it has thawed, tear open the perforated side of the package and place the food and its broth into a resealable container or re-use the zip lock bag. Use a fork to break up the food into a consistent texture, making sure the broth is evenly mixed. Food must be served cold, do not re-heat. Hands, bowl and surfaces should be washed with hot water and soap. The food should be used within 7 days of thawing.
